After weeks of speculation that Kim Kardashian and NBA hubby Kris Humphries were on the rocks, Kim has officially announced that she has decided to call it quits.
In a statement just released this hour, the reality TV star says she decided to end the relationship after 72 days of marriage:
"After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever but sometimes things don't work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best."Kris has proposed after a 6 month whirlwind romance. In the last week sources had told the media that Kim never wanted to settle down. According to reports pals of the star said she was searching for a hunky basketball player to marry to get massive ratings and magazine deals to help her career.
But either way, Kim was smart! The famous socialite signed a prenup with Kris. They will now leave the marriage with both their half of the wedding deal though. Which amounts to $18.
