The Queen of pop Lady Gaga has spoken out about the death of Amy Winehouse, saying that she used to be mistaken for the soul singer when she started out in the industry.
Gaga revealed her sadness at the 27-year-old's death, saying that although she didn't know Amy personally she says she was mistaken for her tonnes of times earlier on in her career:
"I loved her so much. I was nobody when she was first coming out. I have really dark hair and all the time on the street people would go, 'Amy!' And they would go, 'Back to Black'. They'd scream at me."The 'Edge Of Glory' singer added that Amy's music made her feel good about herself:
"I loved her and I just remember feeling like I wasn't alone because she was so different and she was so special."
