Miranda Kerr Is One Hot Mama!
Still can't believe she only had a baby a year ago! For all those new mothers trying to lose your baby weight, look away now, because this is just ridiculous!
Miranda Kerr, the wife of Orlanda Bloom and mother to their son Flynn, looks stunning in this new campaign for Victoria Secrets. She's best known for strutting her teeny tiny body down the catwalk as one of Victoria Secrets angels and it's clear why!
The gorgeous brunette looks flawless in these new poses. It's hard to believe that she gave birth just one year ago.
Some people just have that natural beauty!

Fashion Fix: Rihanna
Ok I need to know what you guys think of this 'swim suit'. At first glance it looks really hot and funky but when I look a second time I'm just not feeling it.
Rihanna is pictured here unwinding on a yaught in Hawaii (as you do). It's not bikini season just yet but do you think the singer pulls off this look?
She may still look gorgeous, even in this weirdly designed piece, but do you like it? Give me a Yay or Nay people!

Katie Holmes Sizzles In New Photoshoot
Swit Swoo, Katie Holmes is looking amazing for the new H Stern jewellery campaign. The wife of Tom Cruise shows off her beautiful slim body in a new series of sexy pictures which see her rolling around on a beach.
The revealing shoot shows off Katie's tiny physique and model like bone structure, oh and the jewellery of course.
Katie looks flawless as she rolls around in the sand in her underwear and a series of swim suits. She may be a Hollywood actress but it seems that she could effortlessly move into modelling with her long legs and clear skin.

Kim Kardashian Shows Off New Look For 2012!
Wow! What a difference a year makes!
Last night reality star Kim Kardashian showed off a brand new look. The star who recently filed for divorce was out partying last night and flaunted a new fringe in a tight white dress.
Kim was the guest of honour at the TAO Nightclub at The Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino Lad Vegas, and was joined by her family for the celebration.
What do you think of her new look? I think she looks much more sophisticated!

Fashion Fix: Polka Dots
![]() |
Soairse Ronan, Kristin Davis and Kirsten Dunst flaunt the latest style. |
I'm always making sure to stay on top of the top trends in the fashion industry, and trust me polka dots are back in! It's a design stylists have toyed with over the years, but somehow fashion designers have managed to make the pattern sexy!
Cheryl Cole was the first celeb to bring the style back into the main stream. The famous Geordie wore this white and black polka dot number at the Chicago auditions of the US X Factor, which turned out to be her last day as a judge.
Kate Winslet turned heads in her partially see-through polka dot number. The Oscar-winning actress sported the look at the premier of her series Mildred Pierce and she looked fabulous.
This marked the start of the new sexy trend which had just been debuted at fashion shows around the world. There were a couple of different versions spotted on the catwalks. The looks below were the most popular.
Another quirky thing I am loving about the new Autumn/Winter style is that the design doesn't just have to be on dresses, skirts or jackets.
My new favourite version of the design is on tights! Patterned tights are getting huge at the moment. But since the style is mostly geared towards teenagers, tights with shapes and designs on them can be quite tacky.
But these would work for the more sophisticated woman. Pair this with a black pencil skirt and a crimson red shirt and you've got yourself a sexy, yet sophisticated outfit.
So where can we look for these high fashion designs on the high street?? Well first up you can get this amazing Kate Winslet style polka dot dress from ASOS.com.
![]() |
You can get this for just €70.51 |
This dress is currently €70.51 on ASOS and would be perfect for those Christmas parties that are set to kick off soon.
Next up, if you are looking for a bargain and aren't too keen on the skin tight dresses, then this number from Awear will be perfect for you.
![]() |
This is only €12 at the moment. |
The top Irish fashion store is currently doing a 1/2 price sale, so you can grab this 50's inspired look for just €12!
This would be perfect for a wedding, or a sophisticated dinner. This is more similar to the Kristin Davis number (at the top of the page). The flowing material means that you won't be tugging at the dress all night or trying to suck in your stomach. And at this price it would be crazy not to buy it. If you really want to go 50's retro then add a pair of white gloves, red lippy and a white shawl.
And like I said before you can mix and match with polka dots. If you are not interested in wearing a full blown dress with the design, you can buy these adorable pair of shoes.
Cheryl Cole wore a pair of polka dot shoes with her polka dot dress on the US XFactor (it was a bit too much) but I loved the shoes.
You can get these gorgeous light pink peep toes from Topshop, currently priced at £62.

Fashion Fix - Fitted Dresses
It may be getting closer and closer to the time where we will be living in our Uggs again and sporting wooly jumpers but you can still look sexy when it's cold outside.
Victoria Beckham is the queen of fitted dresses but I've found a much cheaper version with excellent quality right here in Dublin. Yes, it's my favourite fashion store, A-Wear.
Over the years the store has become more and more popular with much more competitive prices than other stores with the same quality.
So let's get to it. This Autumn/Winter will be exploding with colour. Mustards and reds are the big ones. This mustard sculptured dress is an absolute steal at €49. It is definitely on par with VB's top designs.
Im loving the ribbed effect on this dress, it gives an extra expensive quality to the look.
And don't worry if you aren't stick thin, these dresses are shaped to hold on to those curves so you can show off a beautiful hour glass figure.
There are so many different ways to wear this dress. If this sunshine keeps up you can throw on some cream sandals and head out to an evening event or if it's getting icy out there you can grab yourself some knee-high boots, tights and a black blazer.
Next up is this gorgeous colour block fitted number. For only €59 also this can last you through all the seasons.
This one can be a bit daring and you have to make sure to use the less is more motto. There is so much already going on with this dress, you don't want to over do it.
What I would suggest is bare leg, black peep toe heels, and big chunky dangle earrings. This can look absolutely fabulous. The two colours may look a bit out there together but this look is gorgeous and perfect for this season.
This dress is a little bit more pricey at €52 but it is absolutely stunning. This yellow contrast look is really in at the moment.
The gorgeous Kate Winslet was only spotted wearing this exact look this month and as you can see it gives the amazing illussion of being that bit skinner (which is always good).
But like I said these dresses are about embracing your curves so don't be worried about the tight fit, remember SPANX is a girls best friend.
All these dresses can be found in the Closet section of A-Wear.

Fashion Fix - Colourful Skinny Jeans
It is set to be the biggest trend of Autumn/Winter and already some of the top celebs have been flaunting bright coloured skinny jeans.
With BT2's recent launch of their new collections, it was clear that denim is back again this season but this time with a twist. With the success of the skinny jean and the denim jacket it's time for something new this season and this is it.
My favourite colour this season has to be red. And both BT2 and BT's Autumn/Winter collection are packed full of soft red dresses, deep red coats and bright red denims.
Jessica Biel has pulled out the look perfectly. Although this new trend can be worn on a night out, paired with back stilettos and a funky top, the bright coloured skinny jean is also perfect for day to day wear.
Here Jessica pairs the jeans with a baggy striped t-shirt and a man-sized hoody. This looks great for your body proportion. Not everybody can pull off the skinny jean look with a tight top because it's quite a low rise, but pair them with something flowy or baggy, add an oversized bag, and away you go!
![]() |
Littlewoods skinnies |
This is another colour I'm loving this season. These blue skinny jeans can be bought at Littlewoods Ireland and come from the rand Love Label. For just €39 you can snatch up these denims in this bright blue or a turquoise colour.
These are also higher raised then most normal skinnies so you can tuck in a nice white/grey shirt, add some gold accessories and a pair of heels and you're ready to go.
![]() |
TopShop skinnies |
There is also a wide range of colourful skinnies you can buy from everyone's favourite TopShop. My top pick from their are these gorgeous maroon coloured skinnies. Like I said red is really the colour this season, whether it's maroon, violet or chrimson these are the colours to wear ladies.
These jeans I'm in love with they have a very soft material and aren't too tight on the waist, which is always a good thing no matter what size you are.
![]() |
ASOS Skinnies |
I'm loving these ASOS skinny jeans, which you can whip up for just €44.87. Obviously with such a bright colour you need to look at pairing more natural tones, like white, grey or even black with these pants.
But as you can see for this picture you can style your outfit for a night on the tiles or go back to a Jessica Biel inspired casual look.
![]() |
The White Door Skinnies |
Another colour you can go for, if you don't want to go too bright is, the always safe, white. And the best place is The White Door in Dublin. They stock the amazing Hello Skinny Jeans collection, which are said to flatten your tummy, shape your butt and tighten your legs.
Any shape or size can fit into these, and they would look spectacular on a night out. But be careful these babies come in at €175 so you don't want to spill anything on them!
So there you have it, Red, Mustard and Blue are my top pics when it comes to skinnies, any tone of red at all is in this season so if you are looking to follow trends then do that.
PS!!!
One last thing, if you are stinking rich, I urge you to get these GUESS jeans for $98... I'm in love and it's a gorgeous shade of pink!

Fashion Fix - Kate Winslet
I've never made a secret of the fact that Kate Winslet is my favourite actress and person in the world, she is so kind, beautiful and down to earth, but now I love her even more for her style.
Snapped last night on the red carpet for her TV show Mildred Pierce, Kate looked amazing for someone who had just recently escaped from a fire at Virgin owner Richard Brandson's house.
Wearing short shorts and a blaiser, this mini tuxedo suit looked perfect on the British actress. With her hair slicked back and wearing barely any make-up she still looked ten times better than her co-star Evan Rachel Wood. And it's hard to believe that Kate is actually 35!!
She ticked all the right boxes again the night before at the premiere of her latest flick Carnage. Wearing a stunning Victoria Beckham designed dress the actress flaunted her slim body and toned legs.
She has such an amazing body for her age, and after three kids as well, Miss Red salutes you Kate!

Fashion Fix - Jennifer Love Hewitt
WOWZA!!
After struggling to control her weight over the last year since her big love split, Jennifer Love Hewitt showed off her curvy figure and her slim tummy.
Jennifer was snapped on the red carpet of her new movie Cafe. Wearing the coral Hervé Léger dress really showed off her slimmer body and curvy figure.
The French designer is known for creating incredibly tight bondage dresses, so you really have to have a good figure to pull off this look.
The 32-year-old flaunted her chocolate brown hair with a sharp fringe, and she looked like a lady in her 20's.

Seriously Social - The Catwalk To Kilimanjaro Launch
![]() |
Daniella, Georgia, Louise and Roz at the launch. |
Ireland's favourite models strutted their stuff at Harry's On The Green this Wednesday night and it was all in the name of charity.
Georgia Salpa, Roz Purcell, Louise Johnston and Daniella Moyles have all signed up for the massive climb to Kilimanjaro.
![]() |
The girls took to the stage to thank everyone. |
But as well as raising funds, the girls were raising the fashion bar this Wednesday night, when they stepped out for the launch. So of course I have to go through all their outfits with you, as well as their fabulous hair.
![]() |
Roz and Louise at the launch. |
Firstly, Ireland's Top model and former Miss Universe Ireland, Rozanna Purcell looked stunning as always, this time flaunting her gorgeous long legs in floral hot pants and a flowing white shirt, paired with a red skinny belt and to-die-for soft orange high heels with studs.
And celebrating the return of Fade Street while enjoying the launch all in one night was Louise Johnston. The Dublin star kept it simple with straight blonde locks, a two toned beige and grey flowy dress and dark beige high heels.
![]() |
Georgia and Daniella at the launch |
Tabloid favourite and girlfriend to Calum Best, Georgia Salpa sported long black hair extensions, skin-tight jeans and a belly top showing off that super toned stomach of hers and flaunting her teeny-tiny figure.
Last but certainly not least, RTE Bulletin TV's Daniella Moyles showed off her petite figure in this gorgeous short dress. The Oxegen TV presenter also had her hair in curls, swept to the side, showing off her balayage look. (Check out her Celebrity Diary in today's Herald HERE.)
![]() |
Geraldine O'Callaghan |
As well as enjoying some Kilimanjaro cocktails, all thanks to Harry's On The Green, guests got to chat to the four stars, who will be climbing Kilimanjaro in October for the Make-A-Wish foundation.
Also enjoying the night was Apprentice and Celebrity Masterchef star Geraldine O'Callaghan, who works as a hostess in the bar. And also spotted at the launch was Miriam O'Callaghan's model daughter turned lawyer Alannah McGurk.
![]() |
Miss UN Europe Sami Long |
Other guests included Miss UN Europe Sami Long, singer Mickey Harte and his wife Louise, plus Conor Deehan (who made the hilarious video below).
![]() |
Mickey Harte and wife Louise. |
And let's not forget, of course the night was all in the name of charity folks and thankfully a lot of money was raised at the launch alone.
Lorna Weightman, the presenter of Style Nation, helped organise the climb and the new TV3 documentary about journey airing in a few months.
She told Miss Red that there are over 200 children on the waiting list, so all funds are really needed, and the girls are so passionate about helping out the charity.

Such a great night had by all, and so much money raised for the Make-A-Wish foundation. Make sure to keep on donating, and of course tune in for the TV3 documentary in the next few months.

Fashion Fix - Are Big Pants Attractive?
![]() |
Is this sexy?? |
For some reason the trend of Bridget Jones' massive underwear has come onto the fashion scene in recent months and I just don't get it.
First Pixie Lott came on the scene with the style, and after spreading to Dianna Vickers, Miley Cyrus and Nicola Roberts, Beyonce is next to try it out.
Some of the pants have been cute, with bright sequence and colour like Rihanna sports, but this is just plain old ugly.
![]() |
Rihanna loves the big pants trend. |
With Beyonce's look, it looks like she had a pair of spanx on under her clothes and they just asked her to leave them on. Am I being too harsh?

Fashion Fix - Lauren Conrad
She always looks so on trend!
She may no longer be on our TV screens but she is still very much on the fashion scene. Lauren Conrad looked gorgeous while popping in to see Katy Perry live on her California Girls tour.
The singer was performing at the Nokia Theatre in LA this weekend and a beaming LC looked gorgeous in black leather pants, a floral black top, loose curls in her hair, bright red nails and peep toe brown heels.
She's currently rocking the balayage look at the moment, a style she has always loved. The gorgeous California babe has been living the single life the last few months, after she split from her actor beau Kyle Howard.
The reality star hasn't been linked to any other man just yet, but I'm sure some cute guy will scoop up the fashion designer any day now!

Ladies Day At The RDS Horse Show
I had a fabulous day at the RDS Horse Show, the sunshine finally came out and with Blossom Hill sponsoring this year's show, there was no one left empty handed when it came to wine!
Of course it was Ladies Day so female fashionistas all over Ireland put on their best dresses in hopes of bagging at €10,000 holiday to California.
With over 300 applicants this year, Off The Rails star Brendan Courtney had a tough decision to make, alongside judge Sharon Corr.

Winner!! |
But the overall winner was 23-year-old Yvette Byrne from Carlow. The rising fashion designer revealed that she will be setting up a fashion website soon, in hopes to sell some of her designs.

Fashion Fix - Maxi Skirts
I am absolutely loving this new trend.
I'm not a huge fan of maxi dresses but I really like the maxi skirts. Unfortunately I couldn't find that many skirts on online shops but I found these two in Mango.
The great thing about maxi skirts is that you can completely shape the outfit by adding a tiny belt, a chunky belt, or simply tucking in a shirt or string top. But as you can see from these two Mango dresses, the emphasis is always on the waist, and that alone shapes your body.
![]() |
This is €69.95 from Mango |
I normally try and find all my fashion fixes for under €20 but these are the only two I could find. Honestly I would have no problem paying €69.95 for the pink Mango maxi.
And if you have some cash to spare this gorgeous leopard print maxi skirt is an amazing purchase. Although it's quite pricey the material is long lasting and this print always comes back in fashion.
![]() |
You can get this for €125 from Mango. |
The great thing about this skirt is that you can wear this casually during the day or you can style it to work for a night out.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this new style xx

Savvy Shopaholic - Zara
It may not be looking like summer outside right now, but with the August and September annual heatwave on it's way it's time to do some serious dress shopping.
Whether you are looking to meet with friends on a summers day, or let your hair down on a mad night out, summer dresses fit every occasion because they are short and loose fitting.
This week I've chosen to go with Zara, I've always loved both the style and quality of their clothes, and their fittings are always right on the mark. Plus they have a great sale on right now.
Remember, as always, everything I pick out is under €20.
Firstly I went for a few day time looks. I'm in love with this Frilled Dress for just €9.99, **STAR BUY** as well as the fact that this is a complete steal, I love the style of the dress.
The frills at the top and a tiny belt in the middle, creates some great layers, hiding those lumps and bumps we all like to keep at bay. The strapless look and short length creates the perfect beach look, but you can pair this with accessories also.
White is always the perfect colour on a summer's day, it's about the only time we can get away with it, put on a natural light tan, add a small denim jacket or blazer, add some gold bangles and strappy sandals, and away you go!
Next up is another day-time strapless look. This is an amazing offer, as it's down from €79.95 to just €19.99. The fabric on this is gorgeous with a pleated skirt, loving this Grey dress.
Once again it's all about the accessories, this can be worn during the day time or night. Short denim jackets are perfect for creating the day-time look, add this hat , for just €5.99, to achieve the perfect casual summer style.
To create the night-time look, I would add some killer high-heels, gold or silver chunky jewellery and a dark black blazer paired with a large black clutch.
Continuing with the night-time styles, I fell in love with this Green Halter-neck short for only €12.99.
Green is really starting to make it's comeback this season, and emerald or mint is my top choice. Just this week Slum Dog Millionaire actress Freida Pinto wore a beautiful mint green long dress at the premiere of Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes.
![]() |
Freida Pinto has brought back the trend. |
My favourite colour to match with green has to be gold, I think the two colours are really vibrant together. I'm emphasising big chunky bangles today. It's the best way to go with these summer looks.
Next up red has always been one of my favourite colours, and if you are planning a nice dinner or a cocktail night out I would suggest this beauty.
For just €12.99 you can get this from Knitted red dress Zara. It may seem quite plain at first glance but there is so much you can do with this dress.
First of all the gorgeous V-neck allows for a long-drop necklace. Think of a piece with a long chain and a large symbol, like a ball or a heart.
Add a black blazer to this look, and you've got yourself a smart, elegant outfit for a sophisticated night out.
Finally, you need to have some killer (and cheap) heels to add to any of these outfits if you are planning on hitting the tiles.
You can get these Strappy Sandal heels for just €14.99 from Zara. The strappy look is perfect for the summer time, as everyone's wearing sandals at the moment, so it gives your look a more casual vibe.
.............................................................................................................................................
That's it from me on this week's Savvy Shopaholic. If you would like clothes or accessories from your fashion store to appear on Miss Red, please email ryan.alexandra1@gmail.com.
